DESIGN YOUR OWN CABIN - Intro to Architecture. Learn about the basic process that architects use to design a building. The instructor will use her five years of experience as an architectural illustrator to show participants how to design their own getaway cabin. The class will first design a scaled floor plan for their dream cabin. They will then learn to project the walls up, creating elevations of the cabin. Next, they will design a landscape plan for their cabin. Using all of this, they will build a cardboard model to complete their presentation. Students will also learn to create a finish board and to draw a 2 point perspective of their project.
