I will be offering the following summer workshops for ages 11 and up. They will be held at Daniel Smith in the Bellevue Overlake area. Dates and times have not been set yet. Each workshop will be 3 hours a day for 3 consecutive days. We will discuss composition, color, texture and value while using the specific medium. 	Watercolor. Explore watercolor. We will work with color mixing, glazing, wet in wet and other watercolor techniques. We will discuss brushes and experiment with various papers. I will introduce advanced techniques for a new creative approach. Students will bring their own paint, palette and brushes. I will supply various papers. $175.
	Acrylics Explore acrylics. We will learn how to work with acrylics with various techniques, including underpainting and glazing. We will experiment using various surfaces, as well as color mixing. We will learn how acrylics can have the look of watercolor or that of oil paint. Students will bring their own paint, palette and brushes. I will supply various surfaces to paint on. $175.
